A Salute to the King of Pop: Michael Jackson


Michael Jackson died last June 25, 2009 at 3:15 (Los Angeles Local time) died at the age of 50. He died of Cardiac Arrest = an abnormal heart rhythm that stops the heart from pumping blood to the body. It can occur after a heart attack or be caused by other heart problems.

Everyone is shocked of the news even celebrities do and also the Web. MJ's death grinds Web to a Halt. A lot of websites reporting about his sudden death. Celebrities starts twittering and felt sad and Fans on the loose.


I admit i'm an MJ FAN. My Dad also too. Through my Dad i get to love Michael's songs since my Dad bought some of his CD's. We do the moonwalk while watching his Concert CD's.

Before anything else, i've got to share some 5 FACTS about him after researching.
1. Michael Joseph Jackson born August 29, 1958 seventh child of the Jackson family
2. The Third biggest selling Pop artist next to Elvis Presley and The Beatles. The 1982 Thriller album is the biggest selling album over 65 million copies according to Guinness Book of Records.
3. Earnings estimated exceeded $700m (£423m) in his 40-year recording career
4. Michael Jackson won 13 Grammy awards
5. Jackson bought a 2,800 Acre in North west Santa Barbara for $14.6M and named it as Neverland and built a Private Zoo, Roller Coaster and Ferris wheel.


Michael had a great impact the world of Music. He inspired a lot of people. He was one of the Artist to join the Africa Cause in "We are the World". Had charities and help people. Though he may had this few scandals and cases in the court yet still he survived.
